Planning Drawings for Builders, Developers & Property Professionals
A clear way to hand over the planning stage of an extension, loft conversion or garage conversion. We produce the council-ready drawing pack; you keep the client and the build moving.
Keep the planning drawings out of your site workload
When a customer asks whether their extension or conversion needs permission, the answer can hold up the whole job. Plan Pros gives builders, loft and garage conversion specialists, small developers and property professionals a defined planning-stage route.
Send us the address, brief, measurements and photographs you have. We confirm the suitable pack, prepare the existing and proposed planning-stage drawings, include reasonable revisions within the original agreed project brief and issue the final approved set digitally after the named reviewer confirms in writing that no changes are required. The homeowner can buy the pack directly, or you can coordinate the handover as part of your project.

2
We confirm the route
We identify the suitable planning pack and flag whether full permission, permitted development evidence or retrospective consent is the likely route.
3
Draw and review
We prepare the existing and proposed drawing set, then make reasonable revisions within the original agreed project brief with the named project contact.
4
Digital handover
The completed planning drawings are issued digitally, ready to support the council application.
Timing and review. The first-draft timescale starts once Plan Pros has the completed self-survey and all project information reasonably needed to begin, and either the customer has expressly requested early commencement or the 14-day cancellation period has ended. Following each complete drawing pack issued for review, the named reviewer should provide written approval or, where reasonably possible, one consolidated revision list within 7 calendar days. A project may be placed on hold if there is no response, can be reactivated without charge within 30 calendar days of the most recent drawing issue, and may be administratively closed after that. Silence is not approval, confirmation of factual accuracy or authority to submit drawings.

COMMON TRADE QUESTIONS
Before you send a project
Can Plan Pros work directly with my customer?
Yes. You can introduce the project and remain the build contact while we handle the planning drawing brief and design-stage review with the homeowner.
Can I coordinate the drawing pack for the customer?
Yes. Name the person who should review the design and receive updates when you send the enquiry. We keep the scope, price and handover clear for everyone involved.
Which projects are suitable?
The published fixed packs cover one standard project at one existing house, with one proposal, one planning route and up to 50 m² of new or materially altered floor area. Two-storey, wrap-around, combined, multi-building, commercial, listed and otherwise complex work is priced from the brief before it starts.
Do the packs include building regulations or structural calculations?
No. The packs cover the planning stage. Building regulations drawings, structural calculations, construction details, council fees and specialist reports are separate.
