Turnaround & What You Receive

Plan Pros works remotely across the UK. Your planning-stage drawings are produced from a self-survey and delivered digitally. The first draft is normally issued within 7 to 10 days once the completed self-survey and all project information reasonably needed to begin have been received, and either early commencement has been requested or the 14-day cancellation period has ended.

What you receive

Planning-stage drawings produced in professional CAD, issued digitally so you can attach them to a planning application or forward them to an agent. We use official Ordnance Survey mapping data to produce location plans that meet council requirements.

How long it takes

The first draft is normally issued within 7 to 10 days once Plan Pros has received the completed self-survey and all project information reasonably needed to start, and either you have expressly requested early commencement or the 14-day cancellation period has ended.

Revisions

Reasonable revisions are included during the active design and review stage, provided they remain within the original agreed project brief.
Following each complete drawing pack issued for review, please provide written approval or, where reasonably possible, one consolidated list of requested revisions within 7 calendar days.
If no response is received, the project may be placed on hold and removed from the active production schedule until you respond. A project that remains active through timely responses may continue beyond 7 days while agreed revisions are being considered.
A project placed on hold may be reactivated without charge within 30 calendar days of the most recent drawing issue. After that it may be administratively closed and further work may be quoted separately.

Written approval is required. Only your written confirmation that no changes are required makes a drawing pack the final approved set. Silence is not approval, confirmation of factual accuracy or authority for Plan Pros to submit drawings.

Two things we are always straight about. We are architectural designers and technologists, not chartered architects. And no one can guarantee a planning decision — we produce drawings that meet your council's requirements, but the decision rests with the authority.

What the drawings are for

Our drawings are produced for the planning stage and are marked not for construction — they do not contain the structural, thermal or fire-safety calculations needed for Building Regulations approval, which is a separate step with its own appointed professionals unless an expressly different written scope applies.

We work from the measurements you supply. Take your time over the self-survey — everything downstream depends on it being right.
